It’s been said that this was the 86 before the 87. The sneaker that was suppose to release before the one we affectionately know and love as the air max 1.
Alas, too advanced and ahead of its time it was tossed aside never to see production, until now.
The Air Max Zero, the one before the one.
Released on Air Max Day, (26th March) we Melbournians got to celebrate the release of Tinkers forgotten sneaker first before anyone else in the world. With Nike Aus setting up a nice little event. The two hour get together saw an unlimited amount of food and drinks on tap, tunes spinning from start to finish, some of the best and exclusive air maxes on display thanks to Woody from Sneaker Freaker and Jazz of Aus-Sneakerhead-OG-Fame along with Nike’s Air Max Zero on display for all to see.
A few of us from the crew were there in attendance and thanks to our man Disco Dave we can share with you some images for you to see what all the fuss was about.
