We head to a few events throughout the year but the Sneaker Freaker Swap Meet is Mecca. The crew head out to Globe HQ on a chilling Melbourne morning to get ready for the big day. All laced up in some heavy artillery, we set up and anticipate the thirsty sneaker heads due to roll in at 10am.
With a smile on Hans’ face, the day begins. Food trucks supplied some delicious lunch and snacks for everyone. Those churros, seriously, if you didn’t, then you missed out BIG time. There is something for everyones taste buds. If the Dunk Low SB Supreme collection isn’t your thing then perhaps a pair of Provider New Balance’s is something you’d rather drool over. It’s hard to notice what’s on everyones feet but an interesting pair we noticed was from the forum homie Adrian. Known for having obscure vintage goodness, this pair of re-soled Nike Air Supports was no surprise. We also enjoyed the Troop Iced Lamb joints over at the SF table.
Mmmmmoving on, the event brings the together everyone in the community we love so much and that’s what’s most important. Well that, and finding some Huarache grey beams us9.5 (HIT ME UP IF YOU’V GOT SOME). Big thanks to Sneaker Freaker and everyone else involved for making it a great day.
